2010 in 5 Minutes

For the month of December, I’m participating in a wonderful project called Reverb10. It calls for bloggers to reflect on daily prompts in preparation for 2011. For more information, see Reverb10.

December 15 – 5 Minutes. Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2010 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2010. (Author: Patti Digh)

I’m tired and I have a migraine, so I’ll just make a simple list.

1. The birth of my son in March

2. All of the wonderful things my son has done — smiling, crawling, laughing, clapping — it’s been a joy to watch him grow into a little person.

3. Teaching in a learning community for the first time this semester

4. Vacation at the beach with my family

Hmmm…I think that’s about it.  This year has been all about my son.  I can’t wait to see what 2011 holds!
